Do any of you like them? I hate that they've been labeled as "emo" because I really don't see it. I know plenty about the so called genre and I still don't see how they are called that. Whatever, I'm not going to get into my whole anti-emo rant because that's not the point of this thread I just heard The Black Parade, their latest album, in its entirety yesterday and I just gotta say WOW! What a great album. I'd best describe it as a rock opera. There's so much going on in every song. It has the feel of one of those old silent films (irony) or the 1920s type era. It's really great, a lot better than their last album! Black ParadeFamous Last Words

Just listened to those two songs, quite good songs, i like anything really, anything i can enjoy except the heavy stuff!

MCR aren't really my cup of tea. I generally like older stuff (Alice Cooper, GnR, Motorhead etc) or really heavy stuff. Obviously there are some exceptions to that rule.
Perhaps I just haven't heard the right MCR tracks. All I know is that I haven't enjoyed the songs that have been released as singles.
