A LOVE rat judge was branded a “serial family wrecker” last night — after The Sun won a major legal battle to expose him.
Charles Miskin QC ran off with a pal’s wife while his own missus was PREGNANT.
The twice-married judge, 54 — who has seven kids — also allegedly dumped his first wife when she was expecting his baby.
Cheating Miskin, 54, who earns £500,000 a year — failed to get an injunction stopping The Sun blowing the lid on his “sleazy and hypocritical” lifestyle.
He claimed our story was not in the public interest. But he caved in yesterday before a hearing resumed at the High Court in London.
Now betrayed pal Patrick Kennaugh, 55, can tell how Miskin stole his heiress wife Catharine.
The lying judge was having the affair as he planned a high society wedding to fiancée Angharad Start. Later when barrister Angharad, 44, was six months pregnant her cheating hubby dumped her.
He set up a plush love nest in Fulham, West London, with Catharine, 50 — set to inherit £3million.
Art dealer Patrick, 54, who has been pals with Miskin since 1980, said: “The man is a cad. He sits in judgment on others every day and maintains a ‘holier-than-thou’ image in his professional life.
“But behind the scenes he has left a trail of destruction and shattered lives.
“He is sleazy and womanising.” The revelation comes after Attorney General Lord Goldsmith confessed to cheating on his wife Joy with barrister Kim Hollis.
And Director of Public Prosecutions Ken Macdonald was exposed as having an affair behind wife Linda’s back with blonde barrister Kirsty Brimelow.
Miskin stayed pals with Catharine after they had a fling at Oxford University in the 1970s. She was a guest when he wed first wife Karen Booth in 1982.
But he allegedly dumped Karen when she was expecting their fourth child.
Later he met Angharad and moved in to a £1.5million pad in Stockwell, South London. The couple had two kids before deciding to get hitched in 2005. Some of the UK’s top judges witnessed Miskin make his wedding vows at Southwark Cathedral.
But he had already rekindled the affair with cheating Catharine — who took Patrick and their two kids to the £80,000 wedding.
She dumped Patrick four months later — but returned after finding out Miskin’s wife was pregnant again. Patrick tried to fight to save his marriage. But it finally ended when he spotted scheming Miskin had followed the couple on holiday to the South of France.
Patrick said: “I could not believe my eyes. They had been sleeping together at a nearby hotel. They are welcome to each other.”
